They say the proof of the pudding is in the eat - if that is true, then Salven devoured his oponents today (10th July 2005) with his new 960. After only 13 laps in the German National's final, he had lapped every other competitor!
It was a wet final, but slowly dried throught he 40 mins - there really isn't much to report, due to the dominance which Salven showed - at the end he had (if I have the figure right) 9 lap advantage over his rival Oliver Mack in 2nd place.
Salven simply didn't put a foot wrong and compared to the others, you'd have thought he was driving on a dry track - his car seemed hardly to be affect by the wet conditions, whilst his rivals slid their way around the track.
