Full Scale Aerobatics Competition
World Aerobatic Championships

The WAC is over.. and the winner is:
Defending Champion Sergei Rakhmanin
Women's Champion was again Svetlana Kapanina (4th overall).
Short version, the russians flat kicked ass. Sergei dominated the field, and
Svetlana was the only woman in the top 10. Kirby Chambliss was the top
American in 7th and youngen Zach Heffley (24 years old) finished an
impressive 13th in his 1st WAC. Mr. Consistency, Robert Armstrong finished
11th in his old Cap231. When you consider that every single one of our team
members has a real job.. their results are incredible. I hope the scores all
line up so you can read them easily.
Remember.. there are no throw-aways in full-scale acro. Everything counts.
Zero a figure.. and you're done. The only thing I'd like to see on the world
stage is to give up this notion of separate men's and women's groupings and
just go overall like we do here in the USA.
