Welcome to the new Pepsi RC Pro Caribbean forum. We at RC Pro are dedicated to promoting the sport of rc to the mainstream through larger venues where we can present what we do to the general public. What does that mean for the racers and track owners? We want to make the racers known to the general public so they can attract sponsors from outside the industry like BMX, MX etc. The track owners will benefit by seeing new racers who never knew of the sport.
Just like last year RC Pro Caribbean supplies insurance at each of it's events. This insurance is also available to the tracks. Because of the insurance RC Pro has a membership. There are several ways this membership works. The full membership is $20 and is good for one year from the date it is purchased. A single event membership is available at $5 per event. If you decide to upgrade your membership after a couple of races what you have paid will be deducted from the amount of a full membership. The North American Finals and International Finals require a full membership to compete. Membership can be done through the main RC Pro website or through your Directors ( Rafa Sabatier or Francisco Ortiz). We look forward to another great year in the Caribbean Series. 2008 will see an expansion of the Caribbean to include an Eastern Division in the Dominican Republic. This makes Puerto Rico the Western Division. A Caribbean Finals will be ran with the racers from both divisions. This race will determine the Caribbean final standings and those standings will determine the early invitations for the North American Finals in Texas.
RC Pro has also expanded into Canada this year and the Canadians will also be invited to the North American Finals.
We are also working on the location and dates for the 2009 International Finals. I know the location will surprise everyone!
I want to thank our Caribbean Team for all the hours and hard work they have invested to make the series what it is.
