Geeks are not Apple's target with the iPhone

Roy Singham argued that the iPhone is not the game changing device that most people claim it to be because his Nokia N95 smartphones can do more and better. The discussion was cut short due to scheduling pressure but it got me thinking, why do people lust after iPhone more than other smartphones?
