Well, my original post went by the unsaved way when my puter shut down, so here goes again.

It's hot and sunny out here. There was very little wind, but it's been slowly picking up over the course of the day and it's getting VERY windy as I type. No crashes that I am aware of and other than a flame out here and there, everyone has 2 rounds finished. I'm gonna try to place the results, but don't hold me to them. No tuve tiempo de ver los otros resultados pero si vi los de Intermidiate con Bill y apesar de que yo quisiera que estuviera en primero no es asi esta en cuarto y Mark Lattimore esta segundo el es el que sale en las fotos que postie con la gorra rosita.

Sorry for the short note, my computer shuts-off on me at a moments not notice. Invitational is the same, but Mark is leading and QQ is 2nd. Andrew's canopy blew off during his freestyle (fixed now) and Marco landed early from and over-heated (or over dirtied) motor. Winds were HOWLING today and dust was flying again. Marks also winning Freestyle.

Team JR members scorch the competition at the Tucson Aerobatic Championships

In what has become a common occurrence in 2005, Team JR members have once again turned in a dominating performance at an event. This time, it was the 2005 Tucson Aerobatic Shootout. The Shootout, which has been compared to the Tournament of Champions, brought pilots together from all over the world to compete. Leading the way, however, was Team JR's Mark Lesesberg, who took the overall win. Former World Champion QuiQue Somenzini performed magnificently to finish second. Team JR-Australia's Frasier Briggs made sure his trip was well worth it with a third place finish to round out the Team JR 1-2-3 podium sweep. Mike McConville and Peter Goldsmith rounded out the top ten, finishing 5th and 9th respectively. Look for more expanded coverage from the event soon.
