Esta info fue posteada en RCTech hace varios dias:

The Pepsi RC Pro Caribbean Series is a 10 race series.

6 of the races are Nitro Off Road events and 4 of the races are Nitro On Road events.

Pepsi is a great company with many fine products, we’re very happy to be part of their plans for the future.

Nitro Beach es parte de estas 6 y hay alguna info de las restantes?

De acuerdo a lo que yo tengo entendido, manana es el dia para las practicas controladas para todas las categorias. El sabado comienzan temprano a cualificar y si se terminan todas las rondas de cualificaciones de todas las categorias se tirarian los mains bajitos. El domingo se corre el resto de los Mains. Entiendo que las MT cualifican sabado y corren domingo por la cantidad de inscripciones.

De todos modos a lo mejor mas tarde postean el itinerario oficial una vez se tengan toda la informacion disponible de los que van a correr.

Jaime, si dije algo incorrecto corrigeme pues a lo mejor no estoy tan al dia.

Tengo trabajo el sabado, espero llegar para el ultimo qual., pero sino llego entiendo que correre en el ultimo main. Y si tiran los main bajitos el sabado, que pasara?

Pues espero que digan el itinerario, para saber si me inscribo o no.

La verdad es que yo no soy parte de los orgqanizadores solo trato de ayudar a mis companeros lo mas posible. Esto es para que todos nos curemos. Te tratare de averiguar manana con Saba.

De acuerdo a lo que yo tengo entendido, manana es el dia para las practicas controladas para todas las categorias. El sabado comienzan temprano a cualificar y si se terminan todas las rondas de cualificaciones de todas las categorias se tirarian los mains bajitos. El domingo se corre el resto de los Mains. Entiendo que las MT cualifican sabado y corren domingo por la cantidad de inscripciones.

Segun lo que estube hablando con Saba eso es asi. Se va a tratar de correr lo mas que se pueda el sabado y el domingo lo que resta. Manana temprano trato de confirmar esto con Saba.

Esto depende de cuantas inscripciones hay. Normalmente en practicas controladas se llama por categoria y hasta por nombre. Se practica un tanque y tienes que dejar a otro correr. Si no hay nadie mas de la categoria y todavia hay tiempo de la categoria se le permite a uno correr un segundo tanque de practica. Todo hasta que se acabe el tiempo de la categoria. Luego todos se salen y entra la otra categoria. Esto sigue asi todo el dia.

Según tengo entendido, buscan en la carretera #2 si vienen del oeste, doblar a la izquierda en la carr. #112 si vienen del este a la derecha que esa es la que los lleva al coliseo de Isabela y al final doblan a la izquierda por la carr. #459, luego en la luz intermitente doblan a la derecha por la carr. #466 siguen esa carretera hasta llegar a la playa abajo y a la derecha les indica el Parador Villas del Mar Hau.

Felicidades a todos los que se han dado la vuelta y los que están compitiendo, por razones fuera de mi voluntad no he podido ir ni a que me den la vueltesita a mirar,:banghead::banghead::banghead:
Pero que se va hacer. Por lo menos veo las fotos y se que la están pasando muy bien.

Quiero felicitar A RAFA, BRAULIO y CARLTON de verdad que el evento quedo de show. La pista estaba de show, super nitida, comoda, buena vision tenia todo. Espero que se vuelva a repetir pronto. Tambien gracias atodos los que vinieron de afuera y de lejos y que el RC sea pa largo que descasen despues de tres dias largos.

el evento mejor organizado no pudo estar. Ademas de los que trabajaron en la pista, hay que agradecer a carlton que vino desde texas a tirar el evento, a happy feet q tuvo q salir ajorao a comprar un printer, y rafa q dejo hasta su voz en la pista para q el evento se diera.

yo no me pude curar con la GT2 pq me volo el spur gear a los 2 min:banghead:. pero pude estrenar el RC8 y termine 2do en el B main en mi primera carera en 1/8 buggy:dancing6::dancing6:

nuevamente felicidades a todos los corredores.

Gracias a Rafa y su equipo por todo el esfuerzo para que este evento fuera un exito. Los felicito a todos. Gracias en especial a Carlton y su esposa Mary por ser tan atentos con nosotros. Para mi, aunque no pude asistir todo el fin de semana, el evento quedo bien bueno y me lo disfrute al maximo.

Bueno creo que ya recupere el pulso despues de este week end, semanas para nosotros. Primero que nada quiero darle gracias Dios por los dias de sol que nos brindo, a Pedro , el mad man en el bobcat, al Brako y Gilbert, que nunca me dejaron solo en esto, a el viejito Pun que me recivio toda la tierra y el DRIVER STAND, Omar y Eggie que me consiguieron los tubos, johnirockets, jaime , a jeffrey,Ab y Pagan que me ayudaron a montar los tubos en foto finish y obviamente a la Familia Hau:eek:, por prestanos la facilidad. Y las mas importantes todas nuestras esposas que bregaron con estas dos semanas de calvario si tratar de matarnos. A Carlton y su esposa,Larry, Jason, Neil y Joseph por venir desde el ca.... ya sea para correr o curarse. y a todos ustedes que participaron y visitron que sacaron de su tiempo y $ para compartir y curarse con nosotros y patrocinarnos. Es una pena que no pude disfrutar lo con ustedes. También deseo dar gracias a todos los corredores que participados en nuestro gran carrea en la playa.

Quesero dar la gracias a Carlton, Rafael Y a todos ustedes que trabado tan fuerte para construir a la pista de Pepsi Nitro Beach.

Thanks to Rafa, Braulio (happy feet) and everyone else who made this race possible. Hopefully your wives will let you in the house now after 2 weeks of this.
A very BIG thanks to the racers for making Mary and I feel at home on our 1st trip to Puerto Rico. We look forward to a return trip.

Things we learned in Puerto Rico.
Braulio makes VERY GOOD sangria!!!
If you are not from PR you will need a Garman.
Even with a Garman don't take 4412 from Rincon to Aquadilla in the dark! LOL
A front wheel drive car CAN go offroad!
Save plenty of time to explore Old San Juan.:)

I would like to thank all those who made this race a success. Puerto Rico is very beautiful and so are the ladies I wish I was there instead of St. Croix :( . This race was so much fun, everyone drove a clean race. Emir, negron, juan's, jose, alex, pit crew and all I cant remeber you names, if it was not for you guys, I would not have done so well. Saba, nice to have met you. The only person I did not get to meet and I wanted to was GirLosi :grin: maybe next time, thanks for all the pictures.

RCPRO, that 4412 at night is steeper than you think, ha ha, I almost did the same thing but still had RC racing instinct in my mind and double tapped the brakes to get more turn in and pulled it off, dont tell me you took the dirt road.

Thanks again, I will be back for more racing in 2008.

Emir, thanks for the pit space under the canopy, I would have been burnt to a crisp by sunday.

Jnegron, Truggy, I got lucky my pit guy fixed my steering rod, it broke on the first lap. Also in buggy, I almost did not make the race, engine would not start, again the pit guys got it going. It would have been a great battle, you are fast.

I used someones 8ight starter box before the A main race on sunday, it was on the pit table behind the drivers stand, if the starter wheel is worn out, I will buy you a new one. let me know.

I cant wait for the next race. Everyone in HobbiesPR forum made it worth the race.

Rafa I just wanted to thank you and you staff for such a GREAT RACE, this event has been the best I’ve gone to. My wife and I had an excellent time and this was because of all your hospitality, I’ve never met such cordial and helpful racers. I have to especially thank Jeffery and Edwin for all there help also Alfred, Cloudio and Joel for there tips. Your enthusiasm for the sport is displayed by your racing ability which is very high. My wife and I want to go back next year so I hope everything works out for you. I’m not that computer literate so maybe you could post this on your forums page.
